Those dudes stole, cheated, and made her feel like less than human every chance they had. She stood for it because she'd been abandoned by damn-near everyone over the course of her life, and figured that, while they were treating her like garbage, their letting her stay with them was a kind enough act to excuse the abuse. They were roughly ten years her senior. Eventually my boy, who isn't the brightest but has a good heart, found her. He moved her out, made her stop hanging out with junkies, stop stripping, and genuinely took care of her. Flash forward six months later, they wake at 3 in the morning to find said junkies going through her car. My boy goes downstrairs, they take off, and he finds that his credit card and wallet are missing. They didn't know she was living with someone with a backbone. If they had known this, and weren't cowards that prey on the wounded, they might still have most of their teeth, and wouldn't have had their faces peeled off with a set of keys. Too bad for them.
