RumPuncher
bump.... I just got back and I have to say... it's everything I expected it to be. It's a big summer blockbuster and some people will hate it because of that, but if you liked the first one (which I did) then you'll probably like the second one. shitting
the first one was the first and only big hollywood blockbuster that I actually liked in about a decade.

ASER1NE
Saw it last night , I thought it was pretty damn good. I was a little disapointed they didnt end that story line and have a new one for the third movie . But I may change my mind on that after i see the third movie... Internerd
I dont give a shit..... I WILL LOVE THIS MOVIE FOR EVER!!!! even if it sucks.... I will be my 2md all time favorite trillogy (after Indiana Jones) What's the point of it being your favourite trillogy if it sucks?
RumPuncher
^ I'm so obsessed with pirates that there's no way it could suck for me. They worked in TONS of jokes from the first movie, like the donkey and the rum. The second part of a trillogy always goes for a big cliffhanger (matrix, starwars, etc.) so it only makes sence that they'd do it for this one. one thing I didn't get <<<<<< minor spolier >>>>>> When GIRL kisses PIRATE and BOY sees it, you figure he'd be more pissed about it. There was no resolution to that piece of the puzzle and that kind of thing can't wait untill the next film to resolve itself. Well.... it's not like the narrative was the big feature. Raw fish
The first one was good, the second one had waaaaaaaay to many Disney cheeseball parts. Did they seriously need to fight on that waterwheel for THAT long? Maybe if I was still 8 years old...
DEE38
deads man chest broke like some kinda record for most money made for the first weekend or soemthing. they racked in over 130 million dollars. did anyone else have any goodies while going to see it? we got free popcorn. some other theaters got free shirts. it was good advertising i guess...... and they hype for it was big. as for the movie, the first one will always be my favorite, but the second one is good too. i mean cmon, its johnny dep AS a pirate. life doesn't get any more sweeter. :love2:

Weapon X
My next movie is either gonna be Devil Wears Prada or A Scanner Darkly. This may not go down, however, because on hot days like this when I want to go swimming, I get tempted to go see a pirate movie with lots of water in it. El Mamerro
Considering how drunk I am, still in the office, I wouldn't put it out of the question to end up in a pool with my clothes on tonight.
