Quick history of the "self analyzing survey" Psychologogists back in the fifties were hired by governments and big buisness to get inside the heads of citizens/consumers. The focus group, self analyzing survey became the most popular since people would take them willingly (as seen above). Before this, CIA was researching drug use as a way to get inside the mind of citizens. With the success of focus groups, the testing was dropped and now buisnesses and governments rely on focus group data to predict the success rates of products, canidates, etc. Fun fact, Fox bought MySpace, CIA owns Fox. How many surveys do you think people take on myspace every minute? Either way you're doing a good thing. If it wasnt for people voluntarily taking surveys, the CIA would probably still be conducting methods of drug induced interrogation on normal people.
