da1lyoperations
So who can recommend a good lens for portraits/fashion shoot. For Nikon. I pretty much only use my 50mm f1.4, for everything. Have come across some work that will probably require a new lens for 'glamor shots' Cheers!

Go search Amazon, best non biased reviews and good prices
da1lyoperations
Left out a bit of information hey, haha. Mainly models to show the clothing they're wearing. I have a slave flash but no idea of where/how they want to do the shoot. Just looking for some general ideas from people that shoot models, which are the best all round lenses
eelsone
do you dudes edit your photos much?
Aint94Anymore
Personally, when it comes to Photoshop and Lightroom I usually work with levels first, then exposure, contrast, sometimes curves.
wafflecakee
i enjoy taking a picture that is cool without any editing. but im not good enough for that to happen everytime. i watermark and sometimes curves and sharpen
WorldBench
Everyone edits their pictures, every single professional photographer i know does, every amateur i know does, everyone... nobody takes 'perfect pictures' because people always find flaws.. the end

eelsone
When i edit a photo i feel like im cheating, Id much rather take a good photo with nice saturation and lighting that doesnt need any editing.

MayorMeanBeans
What up everybody, back in panama. got a sick apartment - used to be a nun convent, now its mostly abandoned except for my apartment and a couple others. my balcony overlooks the panama canal: view from my house hallway in my building. one of the unused rooms. also, every sunday when the lowtide is in the afternoon, people play baseball on the beach outside my house in an amateur league [this one's for marcofromhouston] big time wiff welcome to right field, probably the worst position you could play on this beach. doubleplay. crack. if you hit the sides of the house next to left field its an automatic out. homesafe in the bad tattoos dept: savier - worddd?? sure you didnt mean savior? cute kid.

MayorMeanBeans
A couple more from yesterday: went backstage to a dance production around the corner from my house to see them getting ready: mercer that greenlight splash is what you were telling me about right, where the light can go through the viewfinder, bounce around and end up on the sensor?
Mercer
That's just normal lens flare, probablt coming in from the window. Usually the viewfinder refraction is just grainy and due to long exposures or having flash/bright light set up behind the camera. Really stoked you can post man, looking forward to more. loseryouthcrew
20 eyes-yes trash talk is putting out a book. i guess they put one out last year for sound and fury and they're putting another one this year. i guess they basically just ask friends to do whatever they want for the book-drawings, photos, writings, etc and then do a collaboration with everything. i'm curious to see how it will look. the singer just did an article for NME magazine and they used some of my photos in that which i'm pretty stoked on. on a side note since they just changed flickr all around how do i post photos on here now? i keep trying and it just looks like broken links when i post them.
