i bought an ipad mostly to read books from it, but i end up going to the thrift stores sometimes to browse and end up buying pretty much brand new books that have only been read once that are like $15-$20 new for $1-$3 each. because of this i dont really use my ipad....kindle does look easier on the eyes though.

prices have crept up a bit more. from $2.13 a week ago to like $2.37 now....the news said its because the refinery workers are on strike. i wouldnt be surprised if it gets to be back over $3 sometime between spring and summer. i knew it wouldnt last long.

it went up like 5 cents in the past few days..mostly because theyre starting to switch out of the winter blend....lets hope the prices stay low. i hate the fact that certain politicians (like nancy pelosi and earl blumenauer) want to raise the federal gas tax just because the gas prices have dropped......it makes no fucking sense....gas prises will rise again..its inevitable...but if they raise the tax...and then gas prices start to rise again, were screwed....especially out here in california where the state tax on gas is the highest in the country.
