tipping... barber: old asian guy in asian part of town: $2 on a $8 haircut to make an even $10 (all i get is a quick fade that takes him about 10 minutes to do) pizza guy: ~$5 for a $20 order lyft driver: ~$2 for short drives baristas: $0.50 if they were friendly $0 if they werent (i tip through the app) valet: ~$3 massage lady: $10 even though the massage was only $20 for the hour servers: this is where I tip big cause I used to work at a restaurant back in the day (but not as a server)....bare minimum is always 15%.....90% of the time i tip 18%-20% and then round up to the nearest dollar...every once in a while, I will tip around 25%-30% if the service was amazing or if they really went out of their way....one valentine's day, our female server earned like a $35 tip from me cause she was super nice and working on valentines day....another time we went to a really fancy restaurant for my gf's bday and the tip was almost $40, but thats cause the food was expensive.....went to a Brazilian restaurant in napa valley 3 days ago and left a 20% tip.

Just finished watching The Karate Kid (the new one with jackie chan and will smiths son). Call me old school, but I liked the original so much better and the new one ripped off waaay too much from the the original. speaking of will smith...i think i will quote him from the summertime song to show how i feel about the karate kid: If it aint broke....then dont try to fix it.

went and saw sausage party with my girlfriend on opening night.....didnt really know what to expect, but it ended up being a lot of adolescent male type of humor and innuendos...scale of 1-10 i gave it like a 5...they definitely had a good concept and could have gone in a better direction but chose not too.

^nice revolver watch. i had a huge suunto discount through the job i had a couple years ago, never used it though. im actually thinking of buying the new samsung gear fit 2 when it comes out in 4 more days....not really a watch per se, but its kind of half smart watch and half activity tracker so they say. any thoughts?
