  2. if i had a.d.d. which i dont think i have i dont think it would be such a bad thing especially yesterday when i was cooking dinner for my aunt she asked me where the best place to buy a stapler was and i told her about the one time i bought a diamanda galas record because it had a cool cover and when i listened to it full blast like it said on the cover i was liek wtf is this did i not plug in my speakers correctly then the phone rang and it was my friend mike who was lookin to see if i had a spare wheel for my bike so i rode over to his place to play some video games where he then asked me if i wanted to drink some water so we went to the kitchen and i realised that i forgot the wheel at my house so i started to talk about how i'm pretty sure i dont have a.d.d.

  4. (From "(David) Dunkle" + osteus (οστεος, Greek: bone); meaning "Dunkle's Bone") is a prehistoric fish, one of the largest arthrodire placoderms ever to have lived, existing during the Late Devonian period, about 380-360 million years ago. This hunter, measuring up to 10 metres (33 ft)[1][2] and weighing 3.6 tonnes (4.0 short tons),[3] was a hypercarnivorous apex predator. Few other placoderms, save, perhaps, its contemporary, Titanichthys, rivaled Dunkleosteus in size. A hypercarnivore is an animal where more than 70% of the diet is meat from animals, with the balance consisting of non animal foods which may include fungi, fruits and other plant material.[1][2] Some examples include the big cats, dolphins, eagles, snakes, marlin, most sharks, and such invertebrates as octopuses and sea stars.[citation needed] Additionally, this term is also used in paleobiology to describe taxa of animals which have an increased slicing component of their dentition relative to the grinding component.[2] Hypercarnivores need not be superpredators. Salmon are exclusively carnivorous, yet they are prey at all stages of life for a variety of organisms. Apex predators (also known as alpha, super-, or top-level predators) are predators that have virtually no predators of their own, residing at the top of their food chain.[3] Apex predator species are often at the top of long food chains, where they have a crucial role in maintaining the health of their ecosystems.

minnesota has some good trails; at least the ones i've been to. im not sure if the park board exclusively runs/maintains them; i know a large portion of the maintenance is done by the mountain biking association. last time i was out at the trails some St. Paul bike cops were doing some training (they stayed strictly on the sissy trails) but they were taking turns going over a stack of logs and my buddy and myself got so see this one dude endo. dude goes up over the stacks, next thing you know back wheel and legs up in the air. If only I had been video-ing with my cheap digital camera...if only...

i love this thead; i've learned a bunch of stuff about average dudes road racing as well as i have enjoyed the occasional "yo im doing this alleycat this weekend" get ignored. then there's the bmx thread. but i cant recall anyone ever mention touring..? two weeks from now i'll be taking a 5-day, ~350 mile tour, minneapolis-duluth and coming back with the MS150 (MS society's bike ride fund raiser), but what i'm really pulling for is when i graduate college (whenever that ends up being) my plan is to bike the entirety of the mississippi. anyone else tour here? the rig; trek 520 (1986 model frame i want to say), matrix wheel set, deore gruppo, biopace chainrings (i think i'm still getting used to them), bar end shifters, and i'm getting a front rack next week (as well as a set of axiom panniers for the front, i got some old school cannondales for the back) thoughts?

  20. i misworded. it's my winter/putzing bike. all my other bikes have gears except my bmx; and i commute 15-20 miles a day minimum, so skating isnt exaclt an option /borderline wrong thread. yeah i would consider throwing things at fixsters in skateparks
  21. so.. i was better at breaking bones than i was at skating, so i quit. i ride a fixed gear because it what works for minnesota winter commuting and putzing around town, but fixed gear freestyling is one of the dumbest things i've ever seen anyone take seriously especially on skateparks /end rant
