  1. Does anyone else get faded then watch some of these only to do the exact same thing like a week later? Fuck.
  2. I've been abolishing debt for years by not answering the phone when the collection agency phones. But hey, if this works that would be cool too.

    Alcoholism

I drove home really drunk last month. Ended up hitting a pole at 125km/h and flipped the car on its side on the street I live on. License suspended for a month and the car was totaled. Ended up crawling out the back windshield covered in blood. Chunks of glass stuck in my hands, arms and head. Needless to say I don't drink much these days. Honestly, I should be dead. As far as advice...Be your own reason to stop drinking. You are man enough to grab this problem by the balls (nohomo) and sort it out for your benefit. Start small and work your way up, for example tell yourself that you aren't going to drink at certain times of the day. "I won't drink before noon" or "I wont drink between 4-6" etc. To me, relying on other people to be the main source of your help isn't the way I would do it but If its the people around you that will help you stop, find some new people. Get involved in some shit that doesn't have alcohol involved. There is an abundance of genuinely interesting shit going on that can help you at the very least cut back on drinking. It might not totally rid you of booze but it might put a dent in your normal intake.
  5. It definitely helps to know the cause of your anxiety, try and do some self reflection. I am dealing with some anxiety issues right now as well and meditation has worked for me. I do 20 minutes twice a day (noon and 9pm) and its definitely changed the frequency of my anxiety. Marijuana is hit or miss, I either feel really good and relaxed or super paranoid.
  6. I had a Min Royce Union back in the 7th grade, until I lost the key for my bike lock and had to leave it overnight. Needless to say it wasn't there the following day.
  7. I'll be heading down there for a month in December, not sure what to expect. A Canadian in the southern states...
  8. Puregraff used to have a Calgary thread back in my day, but the graff scene here in Calgary has fallen off so harshly. So few writers are really involved these days.
  9. Thought you would get a kick out of this: http://jalopnik.com/5915955/this-subaru-started-after-sitting-on-the-bottom-of-a-lake-for-three-months
  10. That's pretty intense, I would freak if I were in that class, probably piss all over myself or somet shit. At the same time though, I'm not getting beaten at the front of the class trying not to cry because you would be made fun of. A friend of mine described to me terrible stories of attending school in Africa or Uganda or something (No Kony). A couple blanks isn't the end of the world.

  12. I didn't say that there was indeed a God, as this is posted in the reasons to believe there is a God thread. I'm saying that depending on how you view the correlation between human intelligence and religious beliefs you might hold the idea that there will always be something we cannot understand. This might be your view of a higher being or a "creator". A singular God is also a personal and subjective view about it. For instance if you happen to think God is in everything and everywhere you personify that as a single person, some people dont. As for hiding the truth, I definitely think people hide behind their beliefs and use it as an excuse, hence why organized religion is one of the most deadly things happening today. Religion is used as a crutch instead of a step. If your dog is the creator that's fine too.
  13. From a human standpoint, the fact that there are things incomprehensible to us. Period.
