i saw one episode. didn't like it. especially how they portrayed the black family. seemed to me like the writers were the kind of folks who "have a black friend"

has anyone been watching this? season finale was last week i believe? i dont watch tv really, but i am addicted to this goddamn show. it makes me poop neon hypergalactic urine out of my sweat glands it makes me so happy. not really. i just think its a good show that can potentially give alot of people some very bad ideas

addiction is a strange thing. its very easy for some people to "get/be" sober because, well, they arent of the "addictive personality" type. i can't have ONE beer; no such thing. some people can drink out-of-controllably for long periods of time alcoholic-style, then "learn(?)" to drink responsibly some people can be quite addicted to hard drugs, get sober, then drink normally i have tried everything mentioned above, none worked. so i quit everyallthings close to a year sober now, i am much less of a fuckup, yet remain a fuckup nonetheless. oh well

straying a bit off topic... i heard/read somewhere that smells trigger the most vivid memory recollections of any of the senses... back on topic. and word to ethredzny2---> since i got clean im downing a good pot/ pot.5 of java a day and when i dont get the first cuppa the morning i am only vaguely conscious until my (lack-of)caffeine headaches take over... i find it funny how one of my roomates can get clean off of heroin( & etc.) but cannot kick the nicotine habit. i also find it odd how some people can never just have the occasional cigarette like me (without becoming addicted). end.

word. i moved here to minneapolis almost a year ago for rehab and that shit seriously saved my life. addiction is a strange thing, not everybody has it (and its not always to drugs). that is why to people who have not experienced it do not and often CANnot understand it. you are pretty much insane. i never tried heroin, but i couldnt face the world without my bottle (not perceived as being as bad as heroin, but its the only other drug besides benzos whose withdrawals could actually kill you as oppoed to making you feel like your dying) yet never perceived this to be a problem. of course, i can only speak for myself.

oh i remember. i tried out the critical mass thing on friday for the first time. apparently they were "raided" Or something by the cops a few months ago. no surprise. i dropped out when i realised that it was an asshole parade. i felt embarrased to be seen with them. then i wanted to apologise to all the motorists. i went home and ate dinner instead. no wonder people i talk to tend to dislike bikers. then i searched the omniscient 12oz. and i was right. basically an asshole parade. which i think is a shame. it seems like a good idea gone bad.

strange...i was recently wondering about my doing this. guilty as charged. ive been visiting quite regularly since about 2002. longest period where i diddnt was 4 months of rehab, and boy did things change (yet at the same not really) ive had like 2 other screennames but for whatever reason i couldnt/cant access them i guess i just dont feel i have something to contribute oftentimes. but yes, 12oz is my e-home...ive even thought of getting the little chicken logo tattooed sometime in the future(struggle inc. i believe?). greetings.
