MrChupacabra
Not all of these are exactly like death cab, but mildly almost similar and good anyways. The Notwist(only the cd Neon Golden) Airport Girl The Appleseed Cast Belle And Sebastian Built To Spill The Decemberists Elliott Elliot Smith Hood Neutral Milk Hotel Love-Cars Minus The Bear Murder By Death The Shins Yo La Tengo The Weakerthans The Postal Service Magnetic Fields Jets To Brazil Jesus, thats a serious list. That should keep you busy on the softer music tip for quite awhile.

trackstand
For those of you in Chicago Pedro the Lion will be playing an in-store show at Reckless on Milwaukee Ave. I recommend a group I just got into recently, the Black Heart Procession. They are fucking good I get bored with a lot of emo music, but sometimes it's nice.... Right now I am listening to Ugly Cassanova, which is also really good but I would not classify it as emo Is the title of this thread a reference to High Fidelity?
