ndv
But with that said to add it. With all the unrest going on in the world, Jazz should be more relevant now than ever. Besides Jazz was never pop amd never will be considering its heritage and where it came from. Jazz is Jazz. On a side note Pop is porn, plain and simple.
T4M*
Hybrids, what I like to call them, is a thing know. A hybrid is combining two genres and using each other's elements to either go both ways or seperate. I have to paint the picture, here goes. Dubstep has Metal music sounds thrown in there and call it Metal Dubstep. You can keep the flow as Dubstep or Metal, and what you create is a hybrid. You have two genres that are almost opposite from each other and there is a good fan base, but than you hear Hybrids that don't make sense to you. I have a couple that's didn't grab my attention, an example is Psy Music and Trap Music. I can't combine the two vibes together or make sense of it. You have to be at the right place at the right time to really get the full experience of what ever side is dominant (psy, trap) Jazz and other preserved genres are overlooked at now, people want more. Hybrids and Popularity was caused by social media and YouTube. Back then, we used to hunt for music and if you had tracks that were bangers, people wanted a copy. I still share that vibe my siblings. I pull up with classic jams they don't know, or interesting beats that I found, and they try to music ID my shit. They will ask me to play it again, or turn up the music. I catch my track being played in their vehicles and they try to skip it when I'm in the car. I always tell people, cellphones should of stayed as calling devices and not super computers. Things would of been different.
