earl broclo ESQ
My latest show: http://dailysession.com/2010/06/15/session-488-funky-slice-06-14-10/ Some older shows: http://dailysession.com/2010/03/30/session-417-funky-slice-03-29-10/ http://dailysession.com/2010/02/27/session-396-funky-slice-02-26-10/ http://dailysession.com/2010/01/26/session-376-funky-slice-01-25-10/ http://dailysession.com/2009/12/15/session-355-funky-slice-12-14-09/ http://dailysession.com/2009/11/17/session-339-funky-slice-11-16-09/ I'm not the best DJ so to say, but you might enjoy the music and there's two hours on each mix. I recommend taking the top two if you can't take them all. This dude has some seriously good mixes on his site: http://www.oddiofile.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=section&layout=blog&id=8&Itemid=55 He does a mix of house/soul/funk/disco. All pretty good though. DEFINITELY GET THIS MIX: http://www.oddiofile.net/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=101:clubbingspain-mix&catid=39:mixes&Itemid=59
penmanship
Every time I've ever gone on long drives the tragically hip puts it in a good vibe. many hate on them and most won't listen, but if you do, you know it's damn good long drive music. Banana fishd
Should I close this, or let people discuss what they like for road trip music? I dunno if I can suggest anything that you would prefer pft, but this is my fancy: I like to listen to lightnin Hopkins on road trips. Makes me feel like I am living American. I get complaints about it. Makes people want to fall asleep and all that. I just light another cigarette and think twenty more minutes to go. That equals about 5 more amazing hopkins songs. Other embarrassing stuff I like to listen to while driving long distances is Dragon Force. I feel like I am going out to war with a goat head on my antenna. It's a pretty comforting feeling. Listening to Tom waits, david sedaris, david foster wallace too, ' Storytelling makes me feel like I am not stuck behind a wheel and have foot sleepers I am going on a road trip pretty soon and I think I'll be real nerd about it and make a themed playlist. Theme is time travel/Music that reminds me of certain times in my life. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HN1t5qdBUzs Little kid. Or smashing pumpkins 1979. Waterfalls-TLC Maybe even things I didn’t really like that much but remember going on. ...yup.
