The illustrations are detailed and well done and I think I remember it being higher end than most picture books. My 3rd grade art teacher brought it in and told us to draw a house for our favorite animals. We got to look through that book and it blew me away. I was sucked into it because of all the detail. On top of that, it got me psyched to draw. So I really want to find it because if one day I have my own kids, I want to be able to do that with them.
