I hate when american directors remake foreign movies that were already good and fuck them up, just because most americans are too lazy to read subtitles. I'd muuuuuch rather read subtitles and see the movie as it was meant to be seen than watch mismatched mouth movements and shitty voiceovers. But yeah, serious what the fuck on them remaking it and allowing a director who's only achievement is a cgi-fuckfest be the guy to do it. And good luck to him finding two child actors as good as the ones in the Swedish version. Both the little boy and the girl were fucking great, which is a rarity in child actors. That film really fucked with me, and the ending, I dunno I cant even really explain but it was like a swelling of emotions /nh. Cant say much anyway dont want to spoil it for anyone. Fuck the remake. My favourite would also be halloween as well, obviously doesnt have the same effect now but Ill never forget the first time I watched it.
