However, the landlord said if i want to paint she'd have to approve the colors 1st. Being that i want to paint the living room green and my bdrm red, she will prob not approve. so am i better off just not painting it at all? It will be easier when i move out and all, but say i end up staying at this place for a minute? What do you guys think? Color? no color? Is your apt painted? Which colors? gracias! PS I was reading about this technique in which you don't paint your walls, but starch paste colored sheets to the walls. sounds a lil ghetto, but do any of you guys have experience w this? Pfffffffffft Posted September 24, 2007 Share Posted September 24, 2007 living room ...a nice warm color... do you have many windows in the living room? if so..you can go for a some what darker color (depending on your other furniture) if not..go for a lighter color... keep the living room "mature" and not some crazy color.. save that for the bedroom.. <<<interior decorate the spot. roadpig Posted September 24, 2007 Share Posted September 24, 2007 you should just wheatpaste porn covering every inch of wall in the joint :lol: back when i was around 19, i let my cousin, my young uncle and a friend live with me. my house pretty much turned into a party house in no time. my cousin brought a big stack of prono mags for the fellas to read while handling business in the throne room. i came home from work one day and they had ripped out pages (not cut with scissors, ripped out) and taped them to the walls with blue painters tape. they did up the bathroom too. i laughed it off and left it up for the day. that night a few girls came over unexpectedly and seen the new decor. i thought they would get scared and run off but they actually laughed too and kicked it anyway. i think the blue tape is what set it off. Keep asking until you find a color/s you can agree on, or better yet, just do it. we're going to paint 2 walls in my bedroom a nice deep turquoise color, and we decided just to do that shit on our own.
