BETELGEUSE
Here is some stuff I thought id share, that ive been fucking around with as of late... Detail... Detail... These are in a series of about 7 or so, so far, all they have been is an experiment in the different treatments of the paint on the surfaces. Bojangles
See, to me...the last one looks like it just "happened on its own". (No diss to you) A lot of abstract hits me like that. Like some color gets spilled out and people let it dry and call it a day. I need some brushstrokes and lines ...or at least some interesting composition, like the ones I complimented above. reyed
i can respect that. i feel if i do too much hands on then it really looks like im trying to hard. if i let it kind of develop on its own it feels more natural and less forced. thanks for the insight. r1char
:scrambled: you could say that about any abstract tho redeye, thos look pretty good the last one is raw most abstracts pretty much do create them selfs its all about how far you wanna take it before you break it fograw im not really diggin the eye pyrimid thing, and if it was in a dif color scheme may it would hit right thats just me tho
Decyferon
canvas I'm working on, trying to have the forefront colours be cooler and the background warmer, first time I have tried any kind of abstract canvas, all I have ever done before are about 6 or 7 line drawings, never used colour in them, so crits would be great
