To accurately gauge intelligence one would have to be unknowingly followed and observed over the course of their ENTIRE life. Even still, the estimation would be incorrect because people can only show intelligence in a certain area if a situation calls for it. For instance: One could be a mechanical savant but, if over the course of one's life, the opprotunity to demonstrate such aptitude never arises the intelligence will be improperly gauged and the overall quotient flawed. One of the first things you learn in most every entry-level psychology course is that IQ tests are a fucking joke. I thought more people would be aware of this.
