The fair debt collection law says that they can only call your neighbors once a week though. And if you want them to stop calling you then answer the phone once, and tell them to cease and desist. Then legally they cannot call you anymore, if they do, you can sue them for harrassment. Which by the way is described as whatever the debtor (you) claims it is. the company I worked for got sued because someone forgot to hang up the phone and recorded an answering machine message of her singing a christmas song, and the debtor was offended.
