Thread for the graffiti muses

I apologize if I came off as simply a bimbo! (I'm a party girl and enjoy pleasing the crowd, sometimes I get carried away!)

Aside from being trashy and bimboish, I'm a graphic designer and enjoy having discussions with other creatives.

I am interested in knowing what others use as an aphrodisiac to produce some rocking shit.

In my field I have to be up on the trends and versatile and kind of be a camillion. For me what I use to inspire me depends on the project.

But when it comes to my personal art work fashion, graff, music, shopping, old books, architecture, soo many others, but lately it's been colors colors colors.....

I guess that's why I appreciate graff so much....... the colors....

others have mentioned alcohol....yeah i've heard that before

.....drinking make me want go out clubbin

And after careful thought and reading thru 12oz's rules I've decided too abstain from nudity>>>>>you only have to be 13 to register! Makes sense graff is the only art movement created by kids for kids!

lucky for me, i don't need a muse for inspiration.

sorry, but without a graffiti muse, i don't have someone bitching and moaning at me all the time about "why do you only wanna go out painitng with your boys and never spend time with me???" :bawling:  :cry2:

it's pretty cool.

when i'm old, i'll have a lifetime of my own work, art and accomplishment to look back on and not have to look to someone else for validation.

So your telling me you don't look to fellow writers for validation?

^^wtf for?? dont be into graffiti if you're looking for other writers validation.

you're in it for your own, and not for others. who gives a shit what other graffiti writers think about your shit. people care too much about what other people think.

You guys are cold. Yo, graf muse, you got about four serious answers throughout this whole thread. Kudos to you to even achieve that. I start a serious thread, and nobody responds with anything serious, sometimes. If you have any more questions, post them up. You still may get one or two people to give you some no nonsense input.

ps your man sounds gay.

h. christ.

if i looked to others for validation, i wouldn't be shit..

i'd probably be a 'muse'

left to sit by the tracks and wait, sipping on a diet coke while her boyfriend finishes his e2e

my first few years in graffiti were hallmarked by insults, rumours, and digs

it's a man's world

and most of em wanna keep it that way.

i'm salty as crackers when it comes to my graf.

i had to claw my way to where i am with perseverance and dedication.

nothing came easily to me in this.

it's been a lot of fun

but also a lot of sacrifice and hard work.

I hear you !@#$% but why do you look down on others for being fans of graff? I did a little bombing when I was younger, but I soon realized I didn't have it in me. But my utt most respect goes out to you and others that have your dedication.

i don't look down on fans.

hell, i've had a few of my own..

but.

your thread specifically stated 'dedicated to those who inspire..."

not 'those who admire'

and went on to ask about resenting a writer who left you at home

i don't feel that i've "looked down" on fans of graf.

i don't look down on anyone.

that's great if you like graffiti..

i haven't gotten much support.

i'm simply explaining another side:

the self-starter/independent writer who draws inspiration from the stress of living and the madness of modern society..

That's exactly what I thought too, but she seems geniunely interested in graff, and I think that's cool. What's funny about graffiti groupies is that they won't give me the time of day when they're hanging out with all these boys, and soon as they find out I can actually paint a clean straight letter they suddenly want to be my friend. Psshh... whatever!

!@#$%, you are a real trooper. My first two years of graff have been filled with gossip about my pesonal life and cristism. I've stayed low for a while, and the storm has passed... now I'm more self movitated than ever. !@#$%, if you are ever on the West Coast I would love to rock some shit with ya! Please believe....
