^^KRink is done for... Good luck finding any

other than the unopened bottle that I have.

-De pressurizing spray paint, before putting in

a mop, is essential. Yes it can "explode" a mop,

and yes this has happened before. You have to

spray the paint into a container, cover it, shake

it up, uncover, and repeat that step several times.

Then you can safely use it in a mop with thinner.

-SnowB... as far as India Ink goes... I would not

use it. You are right it is very thin and only a few

things will help it's permanence, such as Methyl-

Blue. There are other chems out there that stain,

but as far as I know, only the MethylBlue is water

based and can mix with India Ink.

Good luck.

So I realize this will catch me some slack... but I've been around in this thread for a while, and having done a recent search for ink thinner... nothing came up. I have a shiat load of marsh black t-grade dye ink, and I need to know the correct shit to thin it with... I know its probably a simple answer but I'm having a hard time finding the page in this thread... whos got the knowledge?

throw some mineral spirits in that bitch.

aight so this might seem like a stupid question but theres an interesting reason behind it actually...how much does drying affect the staining power of ink? the reason i ask is this. i just used some of my ballpoint ink on WOOD (so it was porous, everything stains it pretty much) and before it was fully dry i decided to wipe it to see how it is. it came off CLEAN. and by clean i mean straight clean. no smearing (i expected that at least). nothing...will drying allow it to stain it anymore or does the staining occur right when you put the ink on the surface?

if it happens right then or pretty quick, then what that one cat said bout pvc primer is true. its a def hit or miss thing and my ink with pvc primer was a straight miss...

Good luck.

Potassium permanganate dissolves in water too.

When in doubt bust out the solubility chart you got in chem class!
