S@T@N
I'm not ashamed to admit it: Gaming was a large part of my childhood, and I've grown pretty fond of some of the soundtracks I've heard. I bought the sound track to psx's Chrono Cross (and it's awesome.) And, after searching and searching and not wanting shitty midi versions, I found the soundtrack to Final Fantasy VII. You ever play this? It's the shit. Anyway.... your thoughts?

rubbish heap
yeah, playstation music was aight but... you should check out some of the music in say, sonic 1 and 2, the original marios, and the ORIGINAL top gear. oh my god, the first top gear on the snes had the best shit... late 80's early 90's techno and the beats were so catchy... SNES was the best. as for final fantasy 7, that game was the shit but i never got through the 2nd disk. too time consuming. oh and the original chrono trigger on the SNES, i think that may have had some nice cuts :p

S@T@N
To tell you the truth, for ambience, Pilotwings 64 does it for me. The levels where it's raining... it's so calming and it loops so seamlessly that you don't even realize it's the same song til it's looped like 6 times. Guest imported_El Mamerro
^Indeed it did my friend, indeed it did. One of the most fantastic wastes of money ever created. But the intro music was dope. And the game over music (which usually ocurred 26 seconds after you began playing).
