Spaceman Spiff Posted June 8, 2009 Share Posted June 8, 2009 So, I got three rolls of film back, and 18 photos I like. For some reason, it always seems to be 18. All this proves is that I still have no idea what I'm doing. I tried this black and white film that can be processed the same way as color and it didn't turn out too bad. Not that I have any real comparison to real b&w film, but I'm content with it. Sorry for the size differences, but the flickr ones were too small for some. Apparently, my dad realized that I have a chance to actually do this for a career and is buying me a new lens to help kickstart it. No more than $1500. Prime. Opions are: 24L, 35L, 50L, 135L. I realized a while ago that I couldn't make photography a career because I'd end up hating it. I haven't gone out shooting once since I got my job in a portrait studio a month ago. Will the 135L be a little too long for my 1.6x crop? If it is, I will go with the god lens: 85mm f/1.2 mark ii. Can you post up some pictures with the 17-40 you own Jon?
