Coffee... that top one looks stright out of my parents' house. Hot.

For real, we need to get up on that group show idea. At least start the chatter around--I'm sure you all go out a hell of a lot more than I do so chat that shit up to the artsy crowds. Maybe we should try to hook up a digital version just for show.... we've all got dumb amounts of webspace I'm sure. Who's got the computer skills?

I'm trying to look for some space around here (PA), I'll see what's up this weekend when the city does "1st Friday" and "1st Sunday".

green plaid! dope.

as for the film vs. digital debate... damn... that's a hell of a way to start a fight.

it depends a lot on what you like. I'm realizing that i can get the high-as-fuck color saturation on digital a lot easier (and cheaper) than with film. dropping $12 a roll for kodak UC or some velvia just isn't possible. b/w stuff is a little different though... possible, surely, but it takes some tweaking. biggusdickus might be rocking the digital for those b/w shots, but he's got the photoshop skills if that's the case.

anyway, i've probably saved a few hundred dollars on film at this point just by shooting color digital. it's all about preference.

*edit: Ask Rage to drop the Polaroid knowledge.

This page is off the hook.

Great pics.

Film vs. digital..

Everyone has their own preference.

I know some people are hardcore film only [cough]MisPants[/cough]

and some save money with digital.

As for the ragepants, I love Polaroids.

Getting a (cheap used) camera and buying a pack of film pretty much equals the same price as getting a roll of 35/120mm film and having it developed.

Of course, there are a few people here that have, or have access to, a darkroom.

I do not.

I work too much to take any kind of Photography class.

Hell, i'd settle for a beginner photography course just to use the darkroom.

But then again, I plan on going to RIT this time next year.
