Not exactly hardcore, but that Cherubs album you sent me awhile back is awesome. I've listened to this shit like 4 times through already. Dave of the Moon is up there in heaviness with some of the greats like Mouth Breather by Jesus Lizard and anything by Flipper.

And for those of you into noise rock type shit, the new Pissed Jeans album King of Jeans that comes out on august 18th is really good. A new Drunkdriver 7" just got put out on fashionable idiots too, but i haven't ordered it or heard it yet. I predict it is good though. New Condominium 7" is also out on FI, and they have another 7" coming out in the not too distant future on some other label too. I know they recorded them both at the same time, so its just a question of when the label is pressing/releasing it.

Uploading now, will send it to you once its done. If anyone else wants it, let me know. I'm going to keep that link out of the open since the record isn't even out yet.

I forgot to mention how awesome the song Playdough is. Obviously not heavy or at all like the rest of the album, but it fucking kills it in a creepy, warped record/bad speakers sort of way. That description is going to make no sense to everyone else, haha.

I know i already posted it, but it deserves a repost as it is without a doubt the best record of the year thus far, in my opinion. Heavy as fuck, loudest live band i've ever seen, and generally awesome.

forgot to post about this is hardcore, so i'll keep it short. if you weren't there, i'm sorry. it was fucking amazing. suicide file reunion alone was worth the trip, but there were so many fucking good bands that played.

other than suicide file, highlights imho were bad seed, force fed, coke bust, the carrier, bane, bracewar, cold world, slumlords, meantime, and joe hardcore having scorecards on saturday and sunday judging stagedives. also most bands, other than pulling teeth, kept the preaching to a bare minimum, which is always a plus in my book.

a lot of the sets are up on hate5six if anyone is interested

ENEWETAK

Enewetak's sound has been described as "brutal hardcore",[2] as well as "damn heavy, with huge roaring grooves and ferocious vocals"[3]

Ive been listening to these guys since the mid-nineties and was lucky enough to see them play many times. Their irreplaceable first lp, and the beat goes on... is one of my all time favorite albums, it was lost in a move almost ten years ago and i have been searching for it ever since.

Im fucking stoked I found a download and heres the link

I will note their earlier stuff was more hardcore than that death metal sound they sometimes got. :D
