  1. If we want to word play I would say people are less catering to their addictions and more that money people are providing them with fast food buffets.
  2. @Kultsthe perfect replacement for your juul
  3. Pix I took of other's collected stuff to give this a thread bump.
  4. Squash, prosciutto, and sage. Odd combo that worked. Wouldn't make a habit of it though.
  5. Not at all. But I'm tempted to throw a line out w/ some bait next time just to see what I can catch. I've considered chartering something for a 1/2 day to try to do some deep sea fishing but haven't gotten there yet. Know someone nearby with the fresh, cheap, seafood connect.
  6. Slightly similar, but not the same. The connection is not as strong, unless you simply love to eat and that sound is your alert to eat. Or maybe your girl warms up some baby oil in the microwave before giving you a hj, then I could see the microwave ring being a bit more exciting. Putting a phone on vibrate doesn't necessarily matter. Take a teen. The phone is their main social connection and if they lose it for an hour or a day to them, in their teen perception, it's like an eternity. Any alert that the phone makes is to them, the most important thing in the world, because it must be the outside social world contacting them. You spend your kid years like that, what do you think happens to them and their susceptability to things like this as they become adults? Cell phones started when most of us here were kids. Now as adults you can tell yourself I'm silencing my phone but people here and in general are struggling with social media, social media addiction, social media disappointment. How did that happen? Through your phone. It was another step in keeping people connected to the device and drawing them in more. Social media plays off human nature, emotion, and reinforcement through shit like "likes" to keep people there. Also pretty sinister since they are keeping people there to harvest their information and use that to further manipulate people.
  7. Also, this is from the state where some people feel pride in being called Massholes, lol.
  8. I've appreciated, at times. Maybe more when there's a character in it. Anyhow, I would assume it's the skateboard and DIY punk look that is the appeal to those who like.
