  1. Part true, but on the other hand, sucks all the way to the bank, right? Some of these "celebrity" chefs have a rep for being d-bags IRL so the flip side is it pays to be humble and realize your place- you're a pseudo entertainer getting paid to eat shit, you show fat America how to further enlarge so don't go getting all self-important. I bet Guy Fieri bathes in pan drippings and bastes himself throughout the day so he won't dry out. I find a good costume mashup pretty funny though. Kim Jong Fieri?
  2. Had little time to fuck w/ my trailcam but took it on the road & set up for a few days, best I got was this
  3. I know the trick but I prefer to let things ride clean and let time, the elements, and others deface it. Plus whenever I see those two ripped pieces stuck back together in some way, it strikes me as some sort of comical defeatist attitude on the part of the person who tried to remove it. I figure either they really liked and wanted it, and being unable to get the whole thing tried to at least put it back together to make themself feel better for having maimed it. Or, someone disliked it and wanted it removed, they only got half, and decided it looked better to have the whole thing there versus a torn piece? I've seen this happen enough to think about it. Related, in recent times I saw where someone relocated a sticker of mine several feet to a new object, and another where someone liked the sticker enough to post pix of removing it and transferring it to their stuff.
  4. Horrible transition, but speaking of logs I met some mushroom farmers who were using the log method to grow theirs. This was a little photo board they had of the whole thing but thought some might be interested.
  5. Someone did not appreciate. The other half was stuck above. That always amuses me, seen it with personal stickers too where someone tries to remove it but only gets about half, then for whatever reason feels compelled to try to put the ripped half back on.
  6. Let no hand be dried without recognizing the oz
  7. Been away, over mountains, through woods, lakes, rivers, down to the sea & back. Will post a little here & there. Fateful topic of conversation here before my journey. While I was away Mother Nature decided to say here I am, rock you like a hurricane. Kicked up driving wind/rain. I was basically between woods & ocean and the area lost power. Could again see a generator being useful at least short term, but also noted that most places I passed appeared without. No running water meant free range shitting in the great outdoors. Used a fallen log that was about toilet height and dropped my own log off behind it. Pro tip if you're ever in this situation- make sure the log you sit on doesn't have any little branches sticking out- you don't want to snag your grundle on that, ya dig? Better keep the frank and the beans up front while you go too. LED lantern and a few candles were key. Had to wash up with a combo of sea water and bottled water, learned soap won't lather in salt water. In town I noted that people visitng the area were a little lost w/o their phones, apparently did not have car chargers. They also needed maps so I assume they were unfamiliar with the area and going off their phones for directions. Big thing to note as far as emergency preparedness- cash was king. Most places could not do credit card transactions, couldn't even operate a register. So cash was accepted everywhere and cashiers did everything the old fashioned way with pen and paper.
