    To me it just looks like there would be a major shortfall in funding. I don't know anyone that is particularly well off, I also don't know anyone that would put money into the military if they didn't have to. I don't drive, therefore I'd put no money into the roads, however I benefit from the infrastructure of the road system. People picking and choosing what gets paid for and what doesn't just seems to benefit the rich areas and fuck the poorer. The flow chart is far too simplistic.

    Private business is as shady as the government in my opinion. Customers are just a cash cow that gets poked, customer service is a buzzword, nonone gives a shit about their customers. I've worked customer service for many many years, for many different private businesses in many different sectors and customers are always treated with contempt. So what if the customer leaves? Most insurance companies are under an umbrella company so the customer goes oh I'm leaving to X company, so what? X company is owned by the same company that you've just left for poor service.

    It's a weird duality, I respect hunting, butchery etc but even seeing a hunter carrying a gun would spook me, even though he has it for a legitimate reason, I'm not used to seeing a gun.
