  1. Mate, seeing Joker and beardo, rath, ghostofgraffiitipast I wouldn't appreciate graf if not for knowledge passed on
  2. God I'd post in here just for some of the gold advice Joker is passing out
  3. From an outsiders view (and not a dig at anyone and more a personal gripe) I hate the comparison people make with guns and cars. Cars are multipurpose and are a function society needs, whereas guns arent. Again not a dig or anything at anyone but it's always a comparison people always make. To be honest, I'm speaking from a uneducated to guns point of view, I just find it interesting seeing everyone's views.
  4. I agree, like Raven said, guns in the US is a genie out the bottle. There is no way to ban guns in the US now. Only reason it works here is because we've not had them, so there aren't massive numbers of guns floating around.
  5. Do you think better mental health care in America and at least background checks on all gun sales and records kept of when guns change hands would help? I suppose it doesn't matter really. You could stop selling guns in the US now and you already have enough.

    Shoes?

Got some dry weather so wore these today
  7. Yea there are gangs all over the UK, Liverpool has it bad too, we have them here too. London just has it way worse.
  8. NY had 289 murders in 2018 and london had 135. Murder rate doesnt mean more murders? I don't know I'm just going off the actual numbers. https://www.theguardian.com/cities/ng-interactive/2019/jan/14/london-killings-2018-homicides-capital-highest-decade-murders https://www.google.com/amp/s/abc7ny.com/amp/nyc-sees-record-low-homicides-in-2018-based-on-preliminary-data/5000622/
  9. I can't see where London had more murders than New York in 2018. NY had a percentage reduction while London increased, however overall NY still had more murders.
  10. Thing is how are you gonna ban a knife? So if you get rid if the hunting/combat knives, there is a still a knife in every kitchen. London is really not representative of the rest of the UK tbf there are just loads of gangs and stabbings. But these are generally all gang related with some innocent people getting caught up in it but it's all socioeconomic, these kids have fuck all to live for and no prospect for the future so easy to get caught up in that life. Like I previously said though, I dont have a problem with guns and would own one in the US. If there was a vote to allow anyone in the UK to have ready access to guns, I would vote against it, again due to my distrust of the general public.
  11. If I had to choose between everyone having a gun or no one having them. I'd opt for no one has them. That would just be my personal preference but then again the UK doesn't have a gun culture like America. I've only ever seen 1 gun in person outside of police/military people carrying.
  12. I'm glad there are barely any guns here, yea people still get shot but rare and generally only between criminals settling scores anyway. People do get stabbed too. I don't actually have a issue with guns but I also wouldn't trust 99% of British people with a gun either, so works out ok here, for me anyway. If I lived in the US though, I'd definitely have a gun.
  13. Godzilla spotted off the coast of Japan! Bet this receives very little news coverage.

    Hong Kong

Hong Kong used to be under British governance until 2000 I think when it was handed back to the chinese. People from Hong Kong were used to being free but over time china is putting its foot down more and more. Hua would definitely explain it better.
  15. Imagine if any of us were put in positions of power haha Judge Decy has a ring to it
  16. I could make a coherent comment, but........... I avoid my dad who is the trans one, not because of the trans stuff but because my dad always brings the worst out in me.
  17. I think for a trans woman to complain that she has the experience of a real woman is ridiculous. A trans women doesn't experience period pains or endometriosis or miscarriage.
  18. Oh I'm kinda not behind the trans thing unless you were like that from birth, its complicated one to explain
