Its not really "one job in a million". And I disagree that its "overrun by dots" thats sorta bigoted and myopic. Sure at the ISP I work for a lot of the people I work with are of eastern descent. I can't say I've ever knowingly lost out on a job to someone of a different ethnic background and got so sore about it as you apparently are. If there are a lot of eastern peoples that are involved in Cisco (and IT in general) that makes them smart enough to know where to find money, but thats it. There are hundreds of different jobs you can make paper off of and not have a degree of any kind, besides high school. Picking a direction to go in and going in it matters a lot more than the industry you pick or the credentials you have. In my personal limited opinion.

going to have to firmly disagree with that sir. a few years of experience working at ISP's and a couple not so hard to achieve cisco certifications can go a long way towards 6 figures. no overtime. no suits at work. no bs. no college. you should. just do it for a few months, learn about networks, educate yourself. dont stagnate. you'd be suprised how little it takes to work your way from field operations into engineering. the paper isnt very far from the front door. just sayin!

I didnt know what the Z1 was until I saw that picture and did some research. pretty interesting, although a bit underpowered.

some very succinct points being made. I agree about the media. the media circus created by this sort of thing is far more dangerous than any amount of small arms weapons in the hands of non militarized individual citizens. we are talking about a generalization.. but a somewhat proven one. which is; a majority of the perpetrators were not very social people. the media is giving them a sure shot at instant fame.. and giving anyone else with the slightest proclivity to repeat such a performance a 100% likelihood of also being famous when previously they'd been largely ignored/belittled/socially outcast i guess my point is that this sort of event is completely self fulfilling. a nation thriving off of instant media driven gratification. like a sick and starving child feeding off its own puke.

not really as horrific as people are saying. not very interesting to listen to. and missing some key components that actually make a good beat. but 12oz channel zero is definitely not the place to get useful feedback on anything..

they did not have a right to take your paint. but you weren't smart enough to be able to talk your way out of it. you having your rights violated by the police is besides the point. that is their job. considering the fact that you were obviously parking in an area where the neighbors watch out for people like you... thats where you fucked up first. be smart enough about parking or dont take a car period. second.. if you are carrying supplies that could be used for graffiti, be smart enough to have a legit reason why. you can be slick talking and work it out. or you can have physical evidence stating why you have those materials. or both. if you are gonna roll with that stuff then having a story like being an art student (have a school ID) or owning a painting business.. is a key part of staying out of trouble. if you wanna go even further.. you could have supporting evidence to make your possession reasonable, and logical. it is really not that hard to manage. have a folio with some fully legit work in it. have a business card. have masking tape. you get the idea. dont be an idiot. I am not saying you are but use your brain. if you are in an area that gets painted a lot... dont be parking near peoples residences and leaving your car. just try thinking of your behavior from the perspective of an 80 year old person. have they ever seen your car? No. Are they afraid of criminals (like you)? Yes.
