its a worthwhile discussion. As far as technique vs style. I dont think getting all hurt about someones opinion is a good use of time, but to each his own. Style is more important than technique, but good burners have both.. at least the Rath has recognizable letters. which is much different than a large portion of this thread..

a somewhat more complex, but elegant solution would be to wire up your cameras to a centrally located wireless (N) router. get a wireless (N) card for your laptop, and access your video feeds from the laptop wireless connection. if you are hip to the geek shit. you can set up a remote client on your laptop and use your iphone or android device to monitor your system while you are out of the house, realtime. sorry to geek out over here. just at work bored.

you can definitely "extend" the cat5 cable. you can find cat5 coupler devices at radio shak, possibly home depot, but more likely you'll need a telephone or computer parts store to get the couplers. for video I would suggest not using couplers to extent the cabling as you will likely lose some fidelity in your signal. your other options are either buy a longer cat5 cable already pre-terminated (meaning, it has cable ends on it already). that option is expensive. or you could buy a cat5 crimpling tool and some cat5 cable ends and make your own cables to length. making cabling is easy. there are 8 pins in the cable. you line them up in the proper locations in the cable end, and squeeze down on the crimping tool. the tool is like a pair of pliers. should cost about 20-45 bucks. but that is likely to be about the same cost as a longer cable. if you buy the tools you need then the next time you want to make changes to your installation it will be much easier. the last option is just to by a small ethernet switch http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16833124416&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleAdwords&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleAdwords-_-pla-_-NA-_-NA and place it where your cable runs short, then get another cable and plug in to the switch headed out to where your monitoring device (camera or audio device) is located.

I put niggas heads on sticks lining my driveway on the way to the house. occaisionally I will light some candles on top of the disconnected heads and let the candles burn so the wax melts down and covers rotting noggins, this keeps the smell and rotting down. it also helps to light the driveway when its dark out.

I scammed a few cans of this paint. The ones I used today were phthalocyanine green 5. It looks about like rusto Night Tide, a shade lighter perhaps. The ambient temperature was 89 degrees. The surface it was applied to was a rusty paint chipped gondola. This paint was applied with the stock black comfort tip it comes with.The paint went on cleanly and applied very evenly. No real sagging or dripping even with multiple applications of the paint in the same spot before drying. Dry time was under 2 minutes to the touch. The paint was applied both underneath and over Ironlak chrome. The liquitex worked well with the ironlak chrome and was opaque over the the chrome with the first coat. Rustoleum satin white (classic valve system) was also used both over and under the liquitex. The liquitex was used as an outline. The stock cap with the can gave a predictable line quality that remained largely unchanged for the duration of the 1.75 cans used to complete the outline. Since the stock cap worked so well with the first can and maintained a clean line the same one was used for the second can, saving the extra cap for later. Kinda wondering what the wear will end up being. Overall the paint was pretty nice, I don't have a single complaint with it. The paint itself, the valve and the stock cap are all far better than ironlak/other chinese copies of similar product. Its worth the effort to get as long as you aren't paying Edit; The coverage on this paint is as good as any other premium paint. The coverage would be comparable to classic painters touch jade.

pardon me for speaking up in possible ignorance. but you can disable the location setting in your phone camera at least on android devices. I generally tend to keep my gps off in the phone regardless. that isnt completely foolproof, as your location can be triangulated by the towers your signal is using.. but if we are just talking about freight yards and graffiti then its not like the NSA is hot on your trail to find out where you are doing panels.

Pfffffffffft I think you have some valid points, but I think perhaps your agenda regarding the discussion of foreign politics is not the most pertinent with regards to this current event. This is an event that happened in the states, and the accused perpetrator appears to be an american citizen. I agree, completely that there are issues with fairness of reporting when it comes to crimes committed by "visible minorities" or people of certain geographical backgrounds. I think perhaps that a larger issue at hand is the use of these instances by the media, lobbyists and government as a means to pursue or further strengthen elements of control within society.
