normally in the past that would be the main thing to do! but everyone here was straight with me and management gave me good references for several of the jobs i was applying for including the one I got. so ill just leave on the good tip. gonna suck having to actually work from now on, versus spending hours online building parts lists for my car/home theater/everything else. my boss actually took me and my team to pf changs as a send off for me leaving.

Re: anyone else getting fucked over by the sequestration? From a critical perspective youre dependent upon the federal government budget for bread and butter. Not to say you cant hustle in a pinch.. but just think about it. Not only should $400 less a month not make a difference.. but having your income be dependant on federal government budgets puts you in an obviously bad spot. I personally would look at it as a great opportunity to diversify and look for private sector employment.

Re: anyone else getting fucked over by the sequestration? im glad to hear government spending is being cut. no real pity here. but i will speak on some shit that happened to me once. i got fired. i spent the spare time getting a data networking certification. along with job searching obviously. i guess all im saying is.. dont trip. use the time to re-invest into yourself.
