  1. Well then. Today I learned. I'm a Canadian as well fwiw.
  2. There was an epidemiologist on Rogan a few weeks back talking about this. He talked about how docs and researchers all over the globe are sharing their findings on this collective posting space, not all of it can be peer reviewed in such a short time but there's definitely collaboration and nobody is hoarding info. I can't remember the page but it's all publicly shared and anybody can read it. Dr's name is Peter Hotez.
  3. My one beef with the redwings is they are heavy. I'm a tech as well (if you couldn't tell by the coveralls) and a few things I really do like about the goretex redwings are they are waterproof and I find there is barely any break in for them. We get a boot allowance and I'm thinking of switching it up for my next pair and going with Haix.
  4. @mr.yuckI've been wearing this boot in particular as my work wear for about 10 years now.
  5. Goretex one piece redwings with composite toe.
  6. @diggity- It took me a little while to get into it but finished strong. Haven't started the second installment yet but I will soon. For now.. and
  7. How come? This home was built in 2016.
  8. 3M Filtrete furnace filters and Swiffer dry are also good medias to make homemade masks from what I've read.
  9. Working a night shift. Doing the sunday crossword waiting for my headphones to recharge.
  10. He's still on IG but he hasn't posted a tattoo in over a year.
  11. I live in Canada and I'm watching the situation unfold in the States and I'm pretty worried for you guys. I'm worried for us too but we don't have near your population or pop density. edit: In light of Raven's post below I feel I should clarify: I'm most concerned about the recession looming after this is over and done with than fatalities etc. And I'm also concerned the stress that the infection rate is going to load most of our medical care systems up with.
  12. The problem is that people aren't taking community spread seriously enough, and despite all the evidence to the contrary don't figure it will affect them.
  13. I read the Border trilogy over parts of 2018 and 2019. McCarthy's Texas/Mexico stuff is pretty gritty and my Spanish is bad to non-existent, had to read them with a translator. I have to space his stuff out. Blood Meridian has been sitting on my bookshelf for like 12 years.
  14. I would take that info with an iceberg sized grain of salt.
  15. @diggity They are both a collection of short stories but sort of build to something at the end of Sword which is where the main Witcher story goes. It took me a second to get how The Last Wish was formatted because I was reading a bootlegged epub but I really liked both of them. I read TLW before watching the Netflix series and wish I'd just read the both of them first.
  16. The Outsider was very King. Started great, finished meh. Altered Carbon 2 currently.
  17. Days are getting shorter and colder so riding time is tapering off. Some pics from recent jaunts and a recovery beverage.
