haven't put up anything in a dog's age. my Rebel XT from 05 was lost in a chase, so I had to replace it. I jumped ship to Nikon and grabbed a D3000 on sale. I would have liked to hold out for a D300, but I'm not really gonna have any extra cash for a while, so I settled for the 3000. here's a few from my walk home the other night. improvised tripods. mailboxes, ledges, etc. just trying it out.

also false. CN is publicly traded on the stock market. they used to be owned by the canadian government, but were privatized in the 90s. they've bought or controlled many small american lines, but no american group holds controlling interest in CN as far as I know.

It might make e-books and e-magazines interesting, but for browsing the web the touch keyboard on screen seems like a bad idea. coffee stains and muffin crumbs smeared all over. using it as a replacement for a laptop seems awkward. how are you gonna watch movies in bed? are you gonna have to buy a device just so you can prop it up on your lap to watch normally? If it was being brought in with a pricepoint like a netbook or something I could see it, but at laptop prices...no way. but I'm an old fart I guess, nobody else seems to be concerned.
