A friend of mine was a Muay Thai kickboxer, and he went to thailand a few years back and taped about 45 minutes worth of bouts. It was equivalent to about 40 or so bouts it seemed... everyone aims hard and for the head with kicks, and usually someone is either KO'd or dead within the first 30 seconds. Absolutely savage.
