the two most impressive things;

the guy has 200 fights on his record? That's an insane amount of bouts.

There's very few people who have the power and the aim to knock someone out

with a roundhouse to the head. This guy knocked someone out with a roundhouse, to the head, via the armpit.

i liked the thrust kicks straight to dudes chin and the way he kicked the shit out of homies legs towards the end.

i went to a professional muay thai event in bangkok. it was pretty fucking awesome. most of the fighters were actually teenagers.

How was that? I heard that shit is pretty fucking insane.

[/b]

real dope. i have pics and even some video footage. i failed on making the thread. i should still do it. the kids were real young. some of the fights were real good. and not a lot of bullshit hype. it was pretty ghetto, but it had a lot of.... i don't know... honor? had a real good vibe of respect. not like bullshit boxing with those stupid motherfuckers dancing to hip hop for 10 minutes before a fight and shit. i loved it, man.

bangkok in general is just a fucking amazing place.

and muay thai is definitely the shit.

also, watch the movie ONG-BAK.

haha... I'm going to watch it right now.

I love the fight where they mash hot pepper powder into the bad guy's faces.

The front thrust kick is really good when it connects,

but easy blocked if you dont have the speed behind it.

Mike Tyson has skinny legs and is really top heavy.

Tyson could knock him out with a punch, but I bet

he's a MUCH smarter, and more well rounded fighter than Tyson.

Has anyone here seen a real Muay Thai fight? A friend of mine was a Muay Thai kickboxer, and he went to thailand a few years back and taped about 45 minutes worth of bouts. It was equivalent to about 40 or so bouts it seemed... everyone aims hard and for the head with kicks, and usually someone is either KO'd or dead within the first 30 seconds. Absolutely savage.

hmmm its alright i guess...i mean, ive seen a few kickboxing fights and theyr all pretty action packed, so it seems like doing any kind of highlight clip on any decent fighter would be pretty sick

anyone know the name of the rage against the machine song in the background?

< big key's tip >

forget about UFC,

grab a K1 dvd from an asain tourney.

K1-MAX 2004 is a good place to start.

You get people trained in different styles

but no submissions or grappling. Pure kickboxing.
