    CRACKHEAD SKEMES TO MAKE MONEY

    Discussion started by Ethreadzny2 - Jan 6, 2004

This is where you share your stories of half-assed thoughts of dreams how to make the cash. Could either be you or a friend.

First off, my friend just had a kid and was hurt for loot. So he decided he had the ability to stand on his hands longer then anyone else. So started challanging muscle heads to hand standing contest for cash.

second- My friend during pot induced thinking. Went to tech for Ski lift technology. The funny thing is there is really no need for that in my area, and there was no chances of my friend leaving the area.

Get a bag full of Mickeys (those plastic 13oz bottles)
and hit up the bar district right after the clubs let out.
Around here they cost $12 at the liquor store but you could
sell them for $20 on the street to drunks. Hell... I know that
I would have paid more then that some nights.

Set up a margarita machine in you doorway if you live on a busy
street and sell 'to-go-cups' to all the thirsty people walking by
    on a hot summer day.

After you finish a case of beer, fill up the empties with water.
Then Glue the box shut. Walk into a beer store and buy another
case of the same brand, then walk out to your car and swap the
cases. Then walk back into the store with the water bottles and
tell the guy that you got the wrong kind. Just swap it for another
case of a different brand and leave. then get drunk.

    breaking into payphones.

i was told they can hold up to 300 bucks in quarters each which sounds about right...

if i can hit 2 payphones in a night thats up to 600 bucks. which i could also make as a stripper, but this is less work and more fun because i get to hit things.

anyone have any experience in doing this? im going to just use an axe and 10 pound sledge and hope for the best...

really how much money do you think is in a pay phone these days?
Maybe in the 80's before CellPhone were everywhere they might have
had money, but no today. Plus you need to think that they are 'wired'.
I'm sure that as soon as you hit one a signal is sent off to the police.

well....ive done some "recreational smashing" of payphones and never had the cops show up so i think i should be good in that respect.

and im aware that with the rise in cellphone usage the payphones dont get as much use, HOWEVER around my way theyve taken the ones out that no longer get use, so whatevers left up is there for a reason, plus i know some crackhead areas where people arent likely to own a cell.

the phone thing is a good idea, you could probably knock the whole thing down and carry it away. maybe if you had a truck, a dollie, a tarp, and a couple freinds, you could get your own vending machine

im more interested in gaining entrance to the coin tray. its not as easy as i had once figured it to be. perhaps i should buy some freon?

pending that i cant get the tray out i may just use a sawsall to cut the whole thing down and take it elsewhere to work.

theres also a chip in there i think that gets alot of money on ebay?

there's a junkie around my way who everyone knows...
he pushes his grocery cart full of stuff around to all the bars in the area where hipsters hang out, he makes friends, and he tries to sell stuff (that he has found) to the drunks

i always thought the guy was a scam artist, but there are definitely people around who love the guy and think he's the coolest (fucking hipsters)

i've seen him selling every fucking used thing out of that cart..furniture, clothes, books, and the like..

i worked at one of those bars for about 2 years..he made friends with the hipster bartenders and they felt sorry for dude, so they'd let him have free coffee and shit..
later i learned he had a home, this was his way of supporting himself and his habit..he would also use furniture in the bar for storage..one time when the bar was closed and i was there on my pastry shift, i wandered out to the bar and made myself a drink. i was bored, so i started checkin shit out..i found in side one of our endtable the biggest porn stash ever..fuckin A the thing was brimming with hardcore porn. damn. dude had other shit all over.

yeah, i bought something from him once.
he had Mobb Deep Murda Music Tshirts (with the blood spatter) ..i talked him down from $5 to $1

    .no mercy

the old 'fool the hipsters' skeme!

Here's one that goes down in my area...
There's a ton of small art galleries in my zone
and there's this one homless guy who sells 'original art' to sceensters.
He walks up and asks 'would you like to see some original art' and he
usually sells a pen doodle on a scrap of paper for $5. It a great scam
just because the gallery people think they're being philantropists by
supporting the arts (and this guys raging hero habit).

He knows better then to ask me to buy one.
Once I looked him straight in the eye and asked
"You think these drawing might be worth something some day?'
    "Yeah sure.. you never know."
"Well art is always worth more once the artist is dead. Gimmie 10"
    He walks away quickly.
