The only reason people on the right are more likely to have a civil debate/conversation about politics these days as opposed to a leftist, is the fact that radicalized leftists have much more power, especially in urban areas, or college campuses etc. where that power is almost absolute. This has empowered them into thinking anything that deviates from their platform is a threat. Not just a threat to their message, but an actual physical threat to them through the abstract. Both sides do this, an overblown fear of the other side, like these myths about violent rapist immigrants, or violent rapist cops/rich people. Every anecdotal incident that illustrates this demonization of "the other side" makes for great political memerey, and this photo is a perfect example. People enjoy political violence should just enter into mutually agreed upon combat.
