Realism
Okay, let’s be real. Crime is rocking an awesome European photothread, so check that out if you haven’t already. However, I also just spent about 4 and a half months living in Copenhagen, and doing other worldly travel shit. It’s my first day back in the US and I’m up at 9:30 feeling like it’s 3:30, so I may as well get this up and running. If you’re one of the 4 or so people I have on Facebook you probably done seen most of these…sorry. Anyway, I have a modest little photothread here, about 200 pictures from Denmark and the other places I visited. I don’t like being “that guy with a camera” so this is really only a fraction of what I did in all the cities I visited. Even so, hope you guys enjoy. Also, before launching this, major shoutouts to Decy and grd. They’re both super good people who were more than hospitable and generous when I stayed in the UK. Hit the props button for em or something. DENMARK Hanging around the city center. Only shitty part about the stay was how much construction was going on, some really nice facades and such were covered up… Famous canal shotz The royal palace. It was crazy how you could literally walk right up to the door. Also some member of the royal family popped out a child, so the day I was there there was a crazy convoy of all this arriving royalty. No pics get mad. Big and tall spire which you can climb to the top of (pics coming up). The church is The Church of Our Saviour. Neat library with moving sidewalks n shit. This was an awesome apartment building. I went in and was ejected. Little guy. Little guys. Some gay bridge where couples write their initials on locks and put them on there 4 eternal luv. This was a cool sculpture in the shittiest mall on Earth. Really liked this painting; Danish National Gallery.

Realism
Pilsner; this was actually in Sonderborg, which is southern Denmark. Went out for a night. Next morning, hungover as shit. Not a particularly fun place during the day unless you were right in the city. Entrance to the burial vault in Sonderborg Castle. Toured one of the Carlsberg brewery locations. There were a lot of signs in English pleading for tourists not to misunderstand this. Carlsberg used to use swastikas extensively as a logo, which was abandoned in the 1930s for obvious reasons. No longer functioning hops elevator.
Realism
Part of a balanced breakfast. This guy was just hanging around the brewery grounds. This is actually Malmo, Sweden, which was just across the water. Another animal just hanging. This guy was posted outside a coffeeshop. View from the spire I mentioned earlier… Danish Resistance monument. Part of the complex located on the grounds of the old Copenhagen castle, prior to the royal family moving to the other one I posted.
Realism
Dranks near the end of my stay. LUBECK Spent a day in Lubeck, Germany. City hall dating back to medieval times. Fallen bell in the Church of St. Mary. Dropped during the Allied bombing in WWII. “Stumbling stones” which are placed outside of former residences of Jews who were deported and killed during the Holocaust. This is the only photo I have of them, but they were present in many different cities I visited. They roughly read: Here lived Helene Saafeld , born in 1887, deported in 1941, murdered in Riga. HAMBURG Went to Hamburg the next day. Hamburg city hall. There was a very cool temporary museum dedicated to Nazi atrocities inside, unfortunately it was all in German. Out and about in the Red Light District…St. Pauli. Drank a ton and dodged absolutely revolting old women offering me ticket vouchers for strip clubs. Really attractive prostitutes though. Church of St. Nicholas, which was completely destroyed during the Allied bombing and left as a monument to the destruction/German civilian victims. I went to Hamburg’s National Gallery. These were some of the paintings I liked. If you don’t like them, cry about it. Self-portrait of the artist, if I remember right. This painting was HUGE. Easily 10-15 feet tall, took up an entire wall. Breathtaking in person. Detail. Some of these fuckers were almost as tall as me.
Realism
BERLIN Pinko Commies. The TV Tower on the right was the architectural pride of East Berlin. Victory Gate! Very interesting Holocaust memorial. Just looks like a bunch of stubby blocks from the top, but when you walked around inside the path rose and dipped all over the place. Walking through it was very moving in a weird way. Bitch in the black up there ruined my artsy shot. Berlin Wall memorial. There was a ton of different commemorations to the Wall all over the place, I guess this one was major. This tower was not actually located here when the Wall was functional, although it is an original watchtower. Cool open-air church. Phat rap tagz and a cemetery all in one. Part of the church that used to be located where the open-air one currently is. Reichstag. View from the dome up top. If you’re in Berlin, check this out. It’s free and pretty cool. Realism
Berlin’s National Gallery, lot of cool modernish art. “Birth of Hitler” Turn yo’ head. This painting was pretty big and insanely detailed with a ton of symbolism. The figure in the middle depicts a Nazi judge. Stray rounds from the Soviet invasion at the end of the war. Infamy. Located at a VERY cool museum (called The Topography of Terror) if you’re a huge Nazi history nerd like me. Essentially it is built on the unearthed foundation of the Gestapo headquarters, which had been covered by the Russians. A bunch of German civilians risked arrest and uncovered them; after reunification they were properly displayed. Aforementioned foundations… Checkpoint Charlie. Government building…those eagles up there were all over Berlin, you could see the marks underneath them where the swastikas and iron crosses were knocked off after the war. A mosque located on a small plot of land considered Turkish territory. Got the opportunity with a few people to go inside and listen to a call to prayer and view a prayer service. Some museum, forget which one. Original Roman temple.
Realism
Enormous pillar taken from a mosque. Picture can’t do the size justice /insert dick joke here. Jews. Beginning of a very, very drunk day in Berlin. This was late morning/early afternoon I think. Seeing this all drunk off cold beer got me excited. Back side of the East Side Gallery with hippy murals on the side facing the street. Rap letters all over the back. I pissed into this. Front side of the Gallery. Sans Souci palace. Homeboy (Frederick II I think, or maybe the VII, fucked if I know) who built this was an extremely popular ruler who liked greyhounds more than people. Real talk, there’s a bunch of his dogs buried here. Imitative of the French style and Versailles. “Sans Souci” means no worries. Wannssee Villa, where the Final Solution was formulated. Eerie as hell to visit. I’m very into Nazi history (ask me bout it) which made a lot of Berlin’s touristy stuff very interesting to me.
Realism
Visited Sachsenhausen. This is the only picture I have, which was taken outside the gates. I didn’t feel appropriate taking pictures inside. Fucked up thing about Sachsenhausen is that it is located almost in the center of a residential area. DUTY FREE UNITED KINGDOM No bullshit, this is the only picture I have from the UK. Decy knows. PRAGUE Prague fucking ruled. Best city I visited, hands down. Attractive city with a lot to do and see. Cheap as hell. I also had a Big Lebowski night here and drank 15 or 20 white Russians. That has nothing to do with anything, but I ended up sucking Czech stripper tits and breaking glass, all for so cheap. Interior. Exterior. Hi Stan, hi Mercer, hi Mom. That wall creeping in the background was really cool, but of course my camera died before I could get an up close photo. I CAME MILAN Milan fucking sucked. That’s all. Realism
Prelude to what was unquestionably one of the worst hangovers of my entire life. BARCELONA After several days of shitty weather and ugly industrial shit in Milan, Barcelona was so on point. Food, women, climate, everything. Roman ruins. Bullet holes creepin’ from the civil war. These guys were performing on a really cutty backstreet and were without a doubt the best I’ve ever heard. They were stacking money too. This was part of a courtyard that apparently belongs to a school. As I was photoing a bunch of little kids ran out kicking soccer balls and shrieking in Spanish and I got some really weird looks from teachers. Don’t think it was supposed to be public. grd
I have a few pictures from when you were here, they're mostly blurry shots of the floor but I do have a great one of you and Decy looking SUPER confused in that dodgy pub. GOOD TIMES.

Realism
I’m sure some of you are familiar with Gaudi, but if not click and find out a little bit. Very cool architecture. This cathedral is enormous, has been under construction for roughly 100 years, and isn’t destined to be completed for another 100 or so. Keep in mind this timeframe is after they cut its intended size by about 2/3. This holy water jawn was made out of a huge oyster, yes it was. On the way to visit another Gaudi project, a giant park. View from the top. Well, that’s about it. I know it's not much for the amount of time I was there, but again, hope you enjoyed...great trip overall, and I recommend all of the destinations. Except Milan. I also have a decent amount of graffiti photos, mostly Copenhagen but a good chunk from Barcelona too. PM if interested and I’d be glad to send them along, or upload/post them in here if there's the demand...Thanks for checking this out…

Realism
Really glad people are liking this. Sorry about the crashes. I actually just came across a bunch more pictures from outside of Denmark. A lot of them are churches and stuff like that but I'll post them up. Swindle also spoke sense to me and I'll be posting the graffiti photos in here too; I'm sure enough of you are active/actively interested and will like them. Bear with me over the next few days, more to come...
Fist 666
my vaio did not crash. you see how i used the brand in place of 'computer' or 'browser,' its because its the first not bottom of the line-cheapest lap computer i've ever had and its neat. people are still faggots when they clarify that they're on macs tho. the noisy faces is heavy stuff. Realism
Despite the fact that this looks like water that's been severely contaminated with heavy metals, it's actually one of the best coffee drinks that I've ever had. You too can enjoy one and be surrounded by Euro-hipsters at Coffee Collective. From the park where Hans Christian Andersen is buried. This has nothing to do with him though.
