Fist 666
as a man who does not wear heels, those car shoes are hideous. i can see them being a hit with girls that like social distortion and burlesque dancers though.
!@#$%
fist i'm sure that is exactly the type that would wear them to me it's still a cool concept, especially the ones with the flames but i would not wear them
Fist 666
fair enough. i guess the concept is neat, it just seems super bizarre that prada is behind them, and not hot topic or lucky 13...
grd
I think I said earlier in this thread that it feels like we've seen everything before so, hats off to Prada for taking a new direction. Isabella Blow would have rocked the fuck out of any of those shoes, I can't think of anyone else that would. No doubt it'll get diluted for hot topic customers and you'll see 'misunderstood' young girls in sweaty clubs, taking out their daddy issues with emo guys the world over. I wouldn't wear them but I'd love to have a pair on my bookcase. Now these I would wear... Casadei(I love their whole spring/summer range, the colours are fucking rad, especially after all the nudes) Rupert Sanderson Yves Saint Laurent Kurt Geiger(I'm not sure I'd wear these, I certainly wouldn't buy them) So yeah, my birthday is in August :)

bourgeoisie
as a man who does not wear heels, those car shoes are hideous. i can see them being a hit with girls that like social distortion and burlesque dancers though. Id argue all, but mostly high fashion needs to be in the right context for it to make sense. also, Im going to need these this winter. I love thick heels....... more louboutin LOVE
Weapon X
Those Prada car heels work well in their ads.
ms.seyer
Not really a gal to be concerned with brand or price these days, I'll buy and wear em if I like them. Buut hello again and these are what I've been seeing lately: I bought these online just for the hell of seeing what they look like on my feet: Question for you ladies... and guys- Does anyone else find these things kind of creepy? bourgeoisie
Has this forum been taken over by Drag Queens? Thart and the grooming thread makes you wonder who's behind this forum? I know right? You might catch the gay just by opening a thread about high heels! Who let chicks use computers anyway? Ms Seyer - they look like a cheap rip off of the louboutin ballet heels... the louboui's are kinda a rip off of McQueen's armadillo's I get it.... but I still think they're ugly.
!@#$%
i don't care for them at all. only ballerinas should look like that, and only when they're doing their move. gals lemme tell ya, when i think 'well-groomed' Drag Queens are definitely the very first thing that comes to mind  ..which reminds me, with the capitalization, are we talking about a roller derby team? this is the high heels thread after all
grd
Question for you ladies... and guys- Does anyone else find these things kind of creepy? Yes, super creepy. When I was about 15/16 we used to go to this goth nightclub, it was dodgy as all hell and happily served young girls cheap cider. A ton of the women there used to wear them...along with fake fangs, Elvira dresses and drag queen make up. They were always making out with very tall men with long straggly hair in Sisters of Mercy t shirts. GOOD TIMES Those sparkly roller heels are pure win.
