What people don't realize if that if enough people stopped buying the more expensive brands then the price would drop if something like this ate into the demand of the higher priced shoes effectively enough. But since that is unlikely to happen, people will still pay ridiculous amounts for shoes. Myself, I am over clothes costing hundreds of dollars.
