ive been kind of obsessed with the idea of mounting rear ends lately....

im seriously looking into rock climing and mountaineering courses. i like hiking and everything but its kind of anti-climactic so this seems like the next logical step. it also seems like a good way to spend a lot of money and have nothing but pictures to show for it but whatever, i need some adventure....

pisco, peru

 

denali in alaska, this would be amazing.

Although I once did go ice climbing in Vermont, and it was a fucking surreal experience. But I don't know if I'd be able to to do it for weeks on end.

My cousin is deep into this ... tons of gear ... leads climbs ... has taught classes ... the whole 9. He has been trying to get me go for something like 6 years. Its crazy ... I climbed my fair share of heavens back in day but even with all the gear I'm timid of this sport.

i used to be really into this shit man. i say go for it. i have a couple thousand dollars worth of gear at my parents crib from when i was like 16. i wish i stuck w/ it longer, i was leading at that age, i def would have done some ill shit by now. or dead. who knows. def fun.

I have a few friends that are into climbing, and they are in super good shape from it. I've gone with them a few times, and it's definitely a lot of fun. I particularly like rappelling back down.

 

If you have a rock gym nearby, go for it. You can also try bouldering if you just want to get a feel for it before you go all in.
