ah you got the 32

i've been debating on a kel tec or a bulgarian makarov for the next one

i'd probably go with the 9mm though

that SU16 rifle is pretty nice too, what does that carbine you posted take for mags?

I actually have the 9 and have for about 4 years, my dad has the 32 - it was not out when I got mine, but if I had the choice today I would go with the 32 as a carry pistol. If you are looking for home defence non carry tho, def get the 9.

The SUB2000 folder comes in Luger 9 and .40S&W

This is the SU16 that uses common M16 mags

they look almost exactly alike on paper, but you can see they fold differently and the su16 has a m16 breech

PLR-16 is no joke either!

Anyone ever travel with your guns checked in your luggage.

I have been checking out these regulations on the TSA website

and they seem to make it look fairly easy to bring your guns with

you on the plane, checked of course. Is it this easy?

Im not sure about ON the plane. I go hunting at least once a year and i have my rifles/shotguns checked and locked in guncases and they go with the rest of the luggage under the plane. I dont think you can carry it around with you on the place though. Then again I havnt done research either.

Ohhh..thats easy. Well at least at my airport the baggage check in is right next to the check in for the guns and stuff. All I do is walk down there with the guns, tell the guys what i have, they pop the locks and check the rifles. They make sure the breach is open and theres no ammo in the gun or in the case. Lock it back up and put a tag on it. And it goes out just like the rest of your luggage does.

That's what the TSA website said, but hearing from you (having actually

done this before) reassures me on doing this in the future. I will of course

call the airport first make sure everything is handled correctly, but I just

wanted to hear someone say that it IS as easy as the website says.

Thanks!

The first time i had to check some rifles was december of 01. when everyone was still freaking out about everything in an airport. This girl was doing the checking in and when she opened the case she literally said "Oh so THAT is what a gun looks like?" and this is the bitch that was going to be checking shit on the xray and shit!!
