shai
^Retestrak? RVM? SRN/Retestrak is a good board. You have to sign up for SRN, but there's a ton of resources on there. Unless it's something specific you're after, it's all (98%) there.

Weapon X
Hey guys, I just torrented a full season of a particular tv show, but the thing is, the files are in .mkv format. What is mkv? And how do I watch this show?
Weapon X
okay, so I downloaded the CCCP codec pack from here: http://www.matroska.org/technical/guides/playback/windows/index.html and now the show works (I put the settings for .mkv files for classic media player), but there is no audio. There's gotta be audio.

Seffiks
first it was the integrated soundcard that went and then on the new mobo the integrated network adapter took a shit
mindvapors
oh shit, it's all good...VLC could play it all along. By the way, .mkv files (along with .ogm's) have the ability to hold dual audio/subtitles than can be toggled on/off. Comes in handy with foriegn vids such as anime, where you can choose to watch it with jap/eng audio and/or jap/eng subtitles.
