Pistol Posted February 16, 2008 Share Posted February 16, 2008 i contacted gateway and they're sending a replacement drive. im thinking about keeping the external, for burning DVD's/ripping etc. to try and keep the laser functioning. i backup lot's DVD's I 'already own' and keep the internal for when i take it out to work or whatever. not sure. yet. i gotta look into it. i read a rumor that alot of gateway lasers die out after a year. google search here i come. thanks again man. Daniel Dumielle Posted February 18, 2008 Share Posted February 18, 2008 My iTunes is acting crazy. When some songs play, they start up at random times, ie: 1:35 into the song. Other times the song starts with only a couple of seconds left. This even happens to the songs when I put them on my iPod. I've checked all the song options, and all of the songs are set to start at zero, so it's not like the songs file has been set to start at a certain point within the track.
