Rustofills Posted September 18, 2009 Share Posted September 18, 2009 You can drill out caps with a 7/64th sized drill bit after you cut the stem off a cap but ou need to be very precise when doing so. The margin for errors is with in millimeters. So unless you have the proper depth figured out your will be drilling out caps only to fuck them up. Your better off just going on troutartsupply.com and buying some female caps from them. Plus the caps they have work real nice. Couldnt get a ny thin to work. could easily be just me not doing it right, but i ran out of time to keep trying. Use a 1/8 bit, 7/16 is too small for that male valve to fuck.
