lord_casek Posted September 10, 2006 Share Posted September 10, 2006 serum, there are ways of hiding your ip, your mac address, etc. what they are monitoring is your bandwidth use. you're probably not using peerguardian, either. that blocks fools like the mpaa, riaa, etc etc. i won't give you illegal advice here, but i will tell you a story about a guy. i think i should start off like this: once upon a time, there was a guy named george. george didn't like paying for movies or music. one day george discovered peerguardian george wasn't a total dipshit, so he looked into proxies sometimes, when george was bored, he'd use his wireless internet to access other peoples networks , and downloaded music, movies, and porno. george still used peerguardian when he did this. he found a great site to get more blocklists, too! it's name was bluetack he had to register, but that was cool. he didn't want government ninnies spying on him. and that's how george got into porno. the end. oh yeah, i forgot to add that george looked in spoofing his mac address. that was so that the man wouldn't track him down and oppress him. but that's another story.
