asdf_va!
DEAR Children of the UK, and adults that don't know what "rubbing alcohol" is... What you are looking for is this: ISOPROPYL ALCOHOL It has hundreds of practical uses and as long as bottle says at least, 70%, or higher, it's perfect for ink usage. Good luck. OinkArtLtdDotCom
in the UK you can get 90% or better isopropyl, sometimes pure, in the local stores. good stuff.

hypergraphia
what are some good indian ink recipes?
OinkArtLtdDotCom
Recipes? For India Ink? you buy it... Okay, so let me ask the experts: i remember there was some shoe dye company i found here in Texas, but the name now escapes me. Griffin, Tarragon, Fiebings, etc we're all familiar with, name off the brands of shoe polish/dye that i'm forgetting if you can remember them. yeesh, i suck. hypergraphia
i meant some recipes with indian ink cause it doesnt stain too good will adding brake fluid solve it?
Pet
I guess you should try.
androidx
i meant some recipes with indian ink cause it doesnt stain too good will adding brake fluid solve it? Break fluid has nothing to do with staining power in the ink. It leaves a ghost around your tag, and if buffed the ghost may sometimes still be visible. But it won't make the ink staining itself any more powerful.
asdf_va!
i meant some recipes with indian ink cause it doesnt stain too good will adding brake fluid solve it? Start by figuring out the base. I will help you on that one... India ink is Water based. Now... what you want to search for, not on this site but out on google, and in hardware stores, you want to look for water based stainer. For wood, leather, anything... if it's water based stain... just mix it with the India Ink. Good luck.

LIV3ONE-CityOfWind
brake fluid or fish oil??
sandinthesea
fish oil
asdf_va!
I have come to the conclusion that both are equally useless. Not trying to be a jerk, or smart ass... But they both are worthless additives for your paint mixes. Found something... Let's just say something better. I have to try it out first to make sure it does work correctly and then I will post my findings. But seriously... Fish Oil and Dot3 are too heavy and greasy to add to your mixes. It screws up your drying time. Yeah...
OinkArtLtdDotCom
stainers. stainers. stainers. as discussed on the first page, methylene blue, gentian violet, potassium permanganate. you can find diluted versions of MB and GV locally. you can get real deal powder stainers from your favorite pusher. as in you know who, you know what i mean? 2-Ez
http://turtlefeathers.com/text/angelus/dye.html in case anyone wanted the link to buy candy. And before people start saying it isn't candy because it isn't advertised as such just keep in mind that candy is the street name for the ink. It was obviously given this name due to the smell of candy it has. Now accepting any and all hate mail/hate pm's from all the Bay Vets.
