  1. Exactly...this thread made my day, and for that PUREHATE gets da props....
  2. Thanks oink for posting something worth reading....
  3. The oil based sharpies are really Uni's with sharpie paint in them, right? I got my hands on a red one the other day, the paint kind of came out as this pink/orange depending on how much you shook it. Kinda weird, but I've only been able to find a white Uni so i can't really compare it with the original...Seems weather proof enough, but its already been buffed pretty good in one spot, although its paint so its not really going to stain anyways...
  4. ^^^ I'll be laughing at you in 10 years when you can't control your bladder anymore and your nervous system craps the bucket. Also, I think I'd see a doctor if I were you man, the fumes are obviously messing with your ability to spell...
  5. hmmm...I'm wondering if by "tall" he meant "stall", as in "bathroom stall." Even if he meant "wall" this is still unbelievably retarded. Way to go.
  6. Magnums suck...the ink is streaky and not all that opaque, the nibs are really hard and you can smell them from a mile away. I suppose you could pull the nib and the stuff inside out, fill it up with your own ink, and put an eraser nib in there. But at that rate why not just make your own marker from scratch. I've been making them out of aluminum blunt containers, its about the same size as a magnum. But at any rate, a magnum is still worlds better then a sharpie king size. Those are the pitts.
  7. I think its sad how nobody tries anything anymore for fear of "fucking it up." Try it, break it, cop a new one, how else do you expect to learn. You can't have everything handed to you. People with this internerd mentality are clogging this site and its getting out of hand. Graff isn't an online social activity. Forums are good for learning gems of information you'd never hear otherwise from people you'd never meet in normal life. Not for asking questions easily answered with a 2 second investigation. I get pissed off listening to these people ask questions about their molotov markers and the montana their mommy gave them. Fuck that i've always been one to subscribe to the "i'm just a man who likes to write his name on things" type of view. Keep it simple. And fuck these dying threads full of repeated nonsense it's getting me down. >.< Sorry for posting this in the marker thread, i guess that makes me a hypocrite. I'm just ranting... So to keep this on markers I guess I'll say I'm officially in love with my pilot and can't go out of the house without it. Best marker ever? Maybe.
  8. Just my opinion, if you really meant all that i think all your gonna wind up doing is giving graff the rep of something done only by gang banging hoodlums with no respect for anything. And while its obvious that writers are by nature criminals, flashing weapons around is ultimately gonna do nothing but bring heat on your scene and possible get you shot if joe hero is packing as well. Again, just my two cents.
  9. true enough if its the same price, but i doubt that cat paid for all that rusto....
  10. legit stash...i wish i had the time to dedicate to getting that much supplies...come to think of it i wish i had the time to dedicate to using that much supplies.....props
  11. parker quink is supposedly alcohol based, it was designed that way a long long time ago to improve drying time. However, it is far from waterproof or permanent, and in fact if you get it wet, i think it splits into two colors. I wouldn't mess with it.
  12. It's called self vulcanizing tape, and I'm not sure if there was ever a link posted to some.
  13. DEFY, have you actually tried any of those recipies? My guess is they suck, if they work at all. Thanks for trying to revive this thread, but I think it would be cool if people posted only recipies they have used. Which is kinda why I haven't posted much in here....I generally just use thinned rusto for paint, and my ink mix is black pilot, a little bit of pvc primer, iodine and methyl blue (because i found some but since ran out) and some purple alcohol ink i found. It's a deep purple ink thats not as opaque as I'd like, not all that hard staining, but I've had some tags outside for months now that haven't faded a bit. It's not the best, but for the not - so hard buffing area i live in, it does that trick.
  14. Actually, you said jack shit about checking art stores for krink squeez mops. you DID post a link to an online graff store in the u.k. Which also I see is where you got your magic ink "thickener."But whether you think you said anything about markers or not, I have yet to see you post anything usefull or productive. Your posts are shit go somewhere else with your big head.
  15. You had a meaningless post about you finding a can of montana. What does that have to do with markers?
