speak for yourself.......... water based paint needs thining with water. but don't use water based paint for anything anyway as it can be buffed with...........??? you guessed it. water!!

well done, give yourselves a pat on the back.

to the guy asking for advice - check the first few pages of this thread.

good to see ASDF is still keeping the toy's in check.

i meant some recipes with indian ink

cause it doesnt stain too good

will adding brake fluid solve it?

Break fluid has nothing to do with staining power in the ink. It leaves a ghost around your tag, and if buffed the ghost may sometimes still be visible. But it won't make the ink staining itself any more powerful.

Start by figuring out the base. I will help you

on that one... India ink is Water based.

Now... what you want to search for, not on

this site but out on google, and in hardware

stores, you want to look for water based

stainer. For wood, leather, anything... if it's

water based stain... just mix it with the

India Ink.

Good luck.

I have come to the conclusion that

both are equally useless. Not trying

to be a jerk, or smart ass...

But they both are worthless additives

for your paint mixes. Found something...

Let's just say something better.

I have to try it out first to make sure it

does work correctly and then I will post

my findings. But seriously... Fish Oil and

Dot3 are too heavy and greasy to add to

your mixes. It screws up your drying time.

Yeah...

http://turtlefeathers.com/text/angelus/dye.html in case anyone wanted the link to buy candy. And before people start saying it isn't candy because it isn't advertised as such just keep in mind that candy is the street name for the ink. It was obviously given this name due to the smell of candy it has. Now accepting any and all hate mail/hate pm's from all the Bay Vets.
