MayorMeanBeans Posted January 17, 2011 Share Posted January 17, 2011 bettylafea, looking good, glad to see youve been improving Spent 6 16 hour days being the photographer of a music festival here in panamal. was a cool 'clinic' for me, there are only so many ways that you can photograph that sort of stuff, and i really pushed myself to look for new ways to photograph, cuz jazz doesn't look how it sounds, if that makes sense. did i say that panama rules? this guy is nominated for a grammy this year one of my main jobs was to photograph the prvt. rehearsals, so i ended up getting what were essentially one-man (me) audiences to numerous people at the cutting edge of jazz music. if i actually listened to the music i would be all about it. the last day of the festival was in one of the central plazas in the neighborhood you guys have seen so extensively photographed. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Patitucci http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Lynch_(musician) 1 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Coming from owning the a700 for 2 years, the a850 is everything i wanted in a great full frame camera...with the right lens combination, this camera is pretty amazing man. i love it. I don't know how to say it exactly but she'd drive me crazy in person when you get as close to knowing what she looks like naked without actually seeing her goods. While I want to believe that its the reflection of the conductor, the way the station while considering the light source leads me to think differently. It was on a mostly abandoned path down the side of what used to be a big housing scheme which was all knocked down a couple of years ago. It was quite a desolate scene but someone obviously maintains the stone and brings new winnie the pooh bears, as there were three in different states of disrepair around it.
