TEE_rase_war
Well, human beings are meant to eat meat. It is just a shame that animals are "processed" in such an inhumane way. Sure I like my steak rare, but i am grateful to the animal that provided itself for me. ^^and Grant wood. dude, you are like so close to getting banned, no more porn please. socrates
This is taken from "the stranger", I think it sums up how alot of us feel on this subject... DIET FOR A CRUEL AMERICAN To my dear concerned vegan co-worker: Thanks so much for the informative "Eat Vegan!" brochure that you so subliminally placed on my desk right before lunch. Seeing all those horrid pictures of filthy slaughterhouses and poor, mutated chickens really made me stop and think. But ultimately I decided that if I want to see something super-frightening, all I have to do is peek over the cubicle wall at the lifeless bag of bones, transparent under fluorescent lighting. You truly are the poster child for healthy, moral living with your dark circles, sunken cheeks, and papery skin, revealing the anemic, protein-deficient blood coursing through your blue veins. And when I order my extra rare, bloody prime rib at lunch, I'll think fondly of the innocent cow that was sacrificed so that I might have the energy to tolerate your emotionally unstable, people-hating, self-righteous diatribes. See you on smoke break, fucking hypocrite. Anonymous

Anonymous this is really funny. i've been vegan for like 8 years already, and i hate the born-again christan attitude that a lot of vegans give out. but the only comment i want to make is that veganism itself doesn't make you skinny and unhealthy looking. i look fine and i have high energy, in fact everyone tells me that i look super healthy, and young for my age, i'm slimmer than most, but not scrawny. i understand the science of nutrition. fools that are all unhealthy looking are like that because they don't know how to eat right, they just cut meat out of their diet, but contiue eating nutritionally void foods like french fries and microwave TV dinners. dumbasses need to change their diet, not just cut certain parts out of it. i just wanted to clear up that veganism itself doesn't make you unhealthy just take the B12 supplements, and you can defeat nature.... but yeah, i'm vegan and i usually don't tell anyone because the bad name people give it, and i usually avoid discussions like this because people always have their mind already made up. everyone in my family is overweight except me, and i'm way more vibrant and lively than they are. i'm healthier becuase of my diet. its like i'm cheating the genes that my family handed to me, and i'm not fat like everyone else. thats the main reason i can say that my vegan diet is right for me. my two cents... some pittsburgh flavor
i feel like kind of a hypocrite in the veganism category because i feel and act strongly for issues such as war, racism, child labor, etc. i do feel the meat industry is quite cruel, and they really should treat animals better. this fact is weighted out evenly by the idea that - shit, if i stop eating meat... it will still happen. so why waste the food we already have in the fridge or the only thing besides salads and vegan-patties the school offers for lunch. (vegan-patties/vegan-dogs i am not a fan of taste-wise, and find it kind of moronic to offer the vegan alternative to what a vegan should be completely against...) so as of now, i love the taste of meat and don't think about the animals. i can't save them. why not use them. i'm a growing boy. The Dude
i dont give a shit what you eat, but i hate it when some of you fucks feel the need to make it known, like those stupid coca cola looking shirts that say "vegan" instead. advertising your diet is fucking stupid. being vegan/vegetarian is cool if youre doing it for yourself or for animals, but if youre doing it for some hipster scenepoints, go advertise yourself on M.O.C. A Fire Inside
i find absolutely nothing wrong with stating that you are a "vegan" on a t-shirt. you can do something for yourself or the environment and still show pride without being a scenester. *edit for spelling errors
Guest spec
Originally posted by A Fire Inside i lived the vegan life for a quick minute, and have found it to be nothing but a waste of my time and effort to better myself and the environment. i almost had some beer last night too, so maybe it's just all my morals going down the drain. this one's goin out by request
serum
i hear over and over again about these pesky vegans always preaching to people. i dont call myself vegan but i havent eaten meat in 11 years and dairy for 10. i havent forced my views onto anyone. on the contrary its been the meat eaters that have been the preachers. always trying to find a fault in my decision not to eat meat. trying to make themselves be the victor of some imaginary war between meat eaters and non meat eaters. real vegans arent out to stop people from eating meat. i dont care what people eat and i dont think most vegans give a shit either. people that preach are insecure and will go back to eating meat. i think people should focus more on what the fuck is in their food. you dont have to stop eating meat, but you should open your eyes and pay attention to some of the sick amounts of antibotics and hormones in animal products. this is what meat eaters should be worried about. we both have to clean alot of shit out of our foods. we're being poisoned one way or another. if i eat meat i'll be eating cancerous meat, digesting hormones and antibiotics, and if i eat vegtables the insecticides will kill me somehow.
